Hargreaves Foundry Group (HFG) includes both Hargreaves Foundry (incorporating the pattern shop) and Hargreaves Foundry Drainage. HFG commits to manufacturing and supplying the highest quality products in line with customer specifications and expectations, and complying with any statutory or regulatory requirements, also considering the change in customer base resulting in new products for new markets.
The QMS processes and procedures, including this Quality Policy, are reviewed regularly at the Management Review meeting to ensure they remain appropriate, and to ensure that the Company carries out its commitment to continually improve the effectiveness of the QMS.
As part of the Quality Policy, HFG has determined objectives in the following key areas, which meet the needs of customers and the organisation, and support the growth of the company in its chosen market applications:
• Customer Satisfaction
• Delivery Performance
• Key Supplier Performance
• Productivity including reducing scrap via production efficiency
These objectives provide a framework to establish specific supporting quality objectives which can then be measured. The objectives are reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure they remain valid and up to date. These are established and monitored at the Management Review meetings and communicated as appropriate throughout the organisation.
This Quality Policy relates to the Standards of ISO: 9001:2015 as:
For Hargreaves Foundry, this includes the manufacture of Iron castings including pattern making, moulding, and finishing operations to customer specifications or supplied drawings.
For Hargreaves Foundry Drainage, this includes warehousing and distribution of iron castings incorporating fabrication, finishing & painting, and inspection activities.
This Quality Policy is controlled and circulated in line with MP/001 Document Control.
The Quality Policy is endorsed by Group Management.
