We were lucky enough to be commissioned to cast 6 Pit Ponies, each around 6 foot from head to tail & weighing 2 tonnes, by another very talented artist & sculptor Sally Matthews , as a tribute to the pit ponies in the South Wales coal mining industry.
From our foundry they went to live at the historic Blaenavon Ironworks where they could be found grazing on the grass in and around the grounds.
